A summer day
Morning in the building, afternoon in the yard
Mornings are for the week's theme. After lunch the group goes out to the lawn and the yard, with a long, quiet hour in the library when it is hot.
Children bring a packed lunch and a water bottle. Sunscreen and hats come from home, and on very hot days the afternoon moves inside.
Packed lunch and a water bottle from home
Shade, water breaks and a hat for outdoor time
A quiet hour in the library every day
